Retro-commissioning - A process that identifies areas for improvement in order to renovate a building to its optimal function.
|

| T. Wall Properties has been awarded the Focus on Energy award, a prestigious acknowledgement of energy efficiency from the Governor of Wisconsin.
T. Wall Properties has saved more than 386,000 kWh of electricity and 3,000 therms of natural gas - enough energy to power 42 homes for a year. To reduce energy usage, T. Wall Properties retro-commissioned a 200,000 square-foot building in Middleton, resulting in substantial energy savings, a cost reduction of $33,500 in annual energy costs proving that "going green" makes economical sense. The firm is looking ahead to retro-commission three additional facilities totaling over 700,000 square feet within its portfolio. Click the Focus on Energy logo to the right to learn more.

Focus on Energy has delivered cost effective energy solutions to Wisconsin consumers, farms, and businesses. It specifically helps businesses identify energy-saving opportunities to help manage rising energy costs, promote in-state economic development, protect our environment, and control Wisconsin's growing demand for electricity and natural gas. The resources and financial incentives also help to implement projects that otherwise would not be completed, or to complete projects sooner than scheduled. |
